Impact Recovery Systems manufacturers temporary and permanent flexible high impact delineation devices for use in construction work zones, highways, streets and parking lots.
The heart of the Impact Recovery System is a unique reactive spring with the strength to support not only a flexible post, but an information panel as well. This unit gives upon impact and is designed to reorient the panel towards traffic. The introduction of the new "Anti-Twist Feature" assures the sign will return to its' original position.

Impact Recovery Systems Flexible MUTCD In-Street Pedestrian Crosswalk Sign.
The In-Street Pedestrian Crosswalk Signs have an overall height of 47” with a total panel sizeof 12”x44” and are manufactured with 3M™ Diamond Grade™ Fluorescent Yellow GreenSheeting. The R1-6 and R1-6a inserts are 10”x24” and utilize 3M™ Hi-Intensity Sheeting.
All signs are equipped with a “anti-twist” feature that prevents the sign from beingtwisted sideways.

Fully tested and NCHRP350 approved.
Designed to take impacts and re-orient towards traffic.
Signs are manufactured with 3M Diamond Grade Fluorescent Yellow Green Sheeting with White Hi-Intensity Sheeting Insert.
Available with portable or surface mount bases.

Impact Recovery System in Action

The new TUFF POST High Performance Channelizer is the latest addition to our line of TUFF products. Developed to meet the harsh demands of high speed, 2-way roadways, it is the only post in the industry that has been tested to withstand 50 hits at 55 mph and still remain upright with no vertical or horizontal listing.

Parking Lot Devices All IRS posts and panels are constructed of flex-
ible polyethylene plas- tics that are resistant to ultraviolet light, zone,
and hydrocarbons. All parking lot products are available in either portable or fixed bases.

Handicap Parking Signs
IRS Handicap Parking Signs are perfect for high traffic parking lot
locations. They are more durable than ordinary steel
posts and require much less maintenance.
IRS Handicap Parking Signs are 12” x 18” with engineer
grade sheeting. They come with a 5’6” post and have an
overall height of 66”. Signs are available with or without
Van Accessible legend.

The key to the One Base™ system is our unique quick-release design. Changing or
repairing devices takes less than 10 seconds. To remove the device, simply pull the
keeper pin and rotate the assembly 15°, then lift and remove. That is all there is to it!
The One Base™ products using the quickrelease system are ideal for applications
where changeable and/or movable work zone devices are required.
